The Assam Govt has been decided to submit a affidavit in the Supreme Court to inclusion of the five documents for establishing the legacy of the 40 lakh persons excluded in the draft NRC while re-claiming citizenship.
Prateek Hajela who is the State NRC coordinator had earlier submitted before the apex court ,there are five documents which is unsuitable
There were five documents
1. NRC of 1951
2.Electoral roll up to March 24,1971
3.Citizenship Certificate & Refugee registration certificate
4.Certified copies of pre-1971 electoral Roll particularly,
issued from the State of Tripura and ration card--- for claiming inclusion in
the NRC
